Billing Terms

1. Plans

Humbugg offers one free plan and one paid plan:

• Free — $0 (always free). Up to 6 total participants in a single exchange, including the organizer.
• Plus — $5 (a one-year pass with no renewal, or a yearly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel). Belongs to the organizer and covers every exchange they organize, with room for more participants than Free. Members never need Plus.

All amounts are shown and charged in USD. Applicable taxes, if any, may be added at checkout.

2. Two ways to buy Plus

Plus belongs to the organizer’s account and covers every exchange they organize. The people they invite never need Plus. You can buy it either of two ways:

• A one-year pass. One payment for 365 days of Plus. It does not renew and nothing is stored to charge again. Buying another pass while one is running adds a further year to it.
• A yearly subscription, which renews automatically. You are charged the yearly price when you subscribe and again on each anniversary until you cancel. If you subscribe while a pass is still running, the first charge is on the day the pass ends. You cannot buy a pass while a subscription is active.

Cancel anytime. Cancel your subscription in the app under Settings → Manage or cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays on until the end of the year you have already paid for, and nothing more is charged.

When Plus ends. Exchanges whose draw happened while you had Plus keep their Plus features. Open exchanges, and any you start afterwards, return to the Free limits.

Failed renewals. If a renewal payment fails, our payment provider retries the card over the following days and Plus stays on while it does. If every retry fails, the subscription is cancelled and Plus ends. You can update your card at any time under Settings → Manage or cancel subscription.

3. Payment processing

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. You enter your card details with that provider, and Humbugg does not receive or store your full card number. You agree to provide accurate billing information and to keep your payment method current.

4. Failed or duplicate charges

If a one-time charge fails, Plus is not added until a payment succeeds; failed renewals are covered in section 2. If you are ever charged more than once for the same purchase, or a charge is made in error, we will refund the extra or failed charge — see the Refund Policy.

5. Price changes

We may change plan prices or features in the future. A change applies to new purchases after we give notice. It never changes a pass or a subscription year you have already paid for, and we will tell subscribers before a new price applies to their next renewal, so they can cancel first.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these billing terms over time. When we do, we will change the version and effective date shown at the top of this page.
